    Craig Sider serves as President of Movement Day. His responsibilities include team leadership, development of strategic planning, strengthening and expanding leadership development and collaborative opportunities, and providing oversight of Movement Day Expressions globally.

    In 1985, he served as founding pastor of The Meeting House in Ontario, Canada, where he and his wife, Laura, worked to build a vibrant community committed to sharing Christ’s message. Beginning in 1996, Craig served as bishop in the Brethren in Christ U.S., a post he held until early 2009. Sider is a frequent seminar presenter and writes regularly on the topics of leadership, vision, and leadership development.

    Craig and Laura have three adult children and one delightful granddaughter. The Siders reside in the New York City area.

    Garth, a Baptist minister for over fifty years, is married to Joy (retired Clinical Psychologist) and they have two children and five grandchildren. Garth stepped away from pastoral ministry in the mid-nineties to pursue urban missionary work in Perth which continued for a decade. With Australians moving away from the gospel, he wanted to explore a missional ministry beyond typical church programs. At the close of that ministry senior police in the city began a conversation with him about chaplains on the streets. He took this up as a retirement project and developed urban training for Christians into city entertainment centres. Today, after ten years of development there are over 250 street chaplains across eleven centres in WA from Kununurra to Albany and it continues to expand.

    Carl began evangelising and discipling in outback Aboriginal communities in 1987. His wife Gail joined him from the mission field in Japan in 1994. They, with the aid of their daughters, Hope and Joy, and a small apostolic team they founded (Indigenous Ministry Links Australia), mentor and partner with about 100 indigenous Christian leaders in roughly 30 Aboriginal communities across the North of Australia. A Kingdom of God Transformational message has resulted in all the vast majority of residents of remote small communities receiving Christ as Lord and many simple churches form as believers are empowered to discover the secret of being “The Church”. In response to the great unmet need of skilled labourers for the ready harvest Carl has felt compelled to equally invest his life in equipping people for effective cross-cultural ministry and reviving The Church’s commitment to “make disciples of all nations” finding the greatest enthusiasm from indigenous peoples of the Pacific and Native Americans.

    Sean has previously held senior management roles in the Fashion industry, working across Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne.

    Sean is married to Jenna, they are passionate about creating Christian community that is enjoyed and not endured. They believe in building Christian community that is dedicated to helping people become happy and whole through Jesus Christ.

    Sean has been a carer for over two decades, caring for both his parents who have suffered from chronic illness. He feels that outside of his educational and work experiences, that this time as a carer has been the most formative aspect of his life.

    He Ian co-ordinates Movement Day Australia and a national group called One Heart for the Nation, which works for the unity and transformation of towns and cities. He is married with 5 children and lives in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia.

    Ian is also the Senior Pastor of Toowoomba City Church, a local congregation committed to unity of the Church of the City. Over the last couple of decades’ unity has gathered pace in Toowoomba with many pastors and para-church leaders meeting weekly for prayer and fellowship.

A light lunch will be served "lunchbox style" onsite which is included in the registration fee. Additional lunch options can be found close by in the CBD's cafes and restaurants.

On Monday night (and possibly Tuesday) we will arrange optional dinner venues around the CBD where you can go eat, socialise and meet a plenary speaker.
